We are proud to host our 13th Annual Canby Jamboree on May 18th, 2019. Teams at the 7th/8th, 5th/6th, and 3rd/4th grade levels are invited to attend. We've had as many as 54 teams in prior years! We will have 8 fields all at the same location in use for the day.
The event is jamboree format with each team guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Although we cannot guarantee it will happen, every effort will be made to schedule teams against opponents that they do not play during normal play. We draw teams from all over the state for this event. So, it is a great chance to play different teams.
This event is for REC level teams.
Rules for the event (Full rules available online):
Games will be 20 minute running halves.
Halftimes will be a minimum of 5 minutes, maximum of 10, adjusted to meet the day’s schedule
Game Misconduct Penalties will result in expulsion from the jamboree
Timeouts: 1 per half
Games tied at the end of regulation will end in a tie.
All games will be played at Ackerman Middle School
NO pets allowed
Registration costs TDB
Cancellation Fee: There will be a $100 non-refundable fee for any team that cancels their registration after April 15th
Concessions will be available
Canby Youth Lacrosse will provide all officials, clock operators, etc.
Due to regulations of the school district, no barbecues (except those used by Canby Youth Lacrosse) will be allowed
